A patent dispute between players in the artificial intelligence space has ended with a finding of ineligibility.

Friday’s decision from Delaware U.S. District Judge Richard Andrews in AI Visualize v. Nuance Communications is good news for Nuance and its attorneys at Weil, Gotshal & Manges. It may add to concerns that patents designed to protect AI-related tech are especially vulnerable on patent eligibility grounds.
