State-level momentum for data privacy bills is at a record high, with more than 30 states considering consumer privacy bills. Most of the proposed bills vary in what rights and obligations apply, while more changes keep coming for existing state privacy laws—making it a headache for even the most experienced lawyers to keep track of.

To address this challenge, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati tech subsidiary SixFifty released Wednesday an automation tool to help companies comply with the growing patchwork of U.S. data privacy laws.
