On Tuesday, legal technology software company Litera announced it has acquired Micron Systems, which offers talent management software that looks to streamline and automate many hiring and HR processes for law firms and accounting firms. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

The announcement comes just days after Litera also disclosed it is acquiring business intelligence (BI) provider BigSquare to expand its legal analytics capabilities.

In a press release announcing the Micron Systems acquisition, Litera CEO Sheryl Hoskins, who joined the company earlier this year, said the move "is an important step in furthering our ability to address our clients' most pressing needs. The battle to attract and retain top talent is one of the biggest challenges firms face today, and Micron Systems simplifies the spectrum of talent management tasks."
