E-discovery and information governance provider Exterro announced Tuesday the launch of the Exterro Smart Data Inventory, a tool meant to help organizations keep track of the sprawling patchwork of data privacy regulations as they work toward compliance.

Along with trans-Atlantic policies and global data laws, various state privacy statutes will determine how businesses organize their data, and what measures they will have to take to get their compliance in order.
