As the field of legal technology continues to evolve and expand, today’s legal tech tools are increasingly having an impact not just on the practice of law, but the business of law as well.

Legaltech News caught up with Ed Estrada, who wears multiple hats in the legal tech and business of law space. After 25 years in private practice, advising two global chairs during his last 15 years in law firms, including several years as a partner at Reed Smith LLP, he founded Estrada Legal Consulting, where he works with law firms to create, implement, track and refine business process strategies. At the same time, Estrada is an adjunct professor at Cornell Tech, a legal technology investor, and an independent director.
