In a year that saw layoffs at Meta, Amazon and Netflix, among many other Big Tech companies, it should come as little surprise that the impact of ongoing economic volatility, including a slowdown in investments, has hit the legal tech market. While there were some signs that the market was slowing down in the middle of the year, by the end of 2022, a handful of companies were taking measures to prepare for what some see as a difficult year ahead. Should economic worries materialize, it's likely other companies will follow suit in the coming months.
