Legal technology changes continued apace this past year. Key developments from 2022 include the re-purposing and pivot of eDiscovery people, process, and technology to address other gaps in the legal space.

The biggest trend of the year could be seen up close at industry events in the exhibitor hall, where there was a noticeable shift away from traditional eDiscovery services and software providers. Instead, exhibitors showcased products, platforms and services focused on supporting or solving other challenges, including contract analytics, contract management, cyber breach response, information governance, and data security platforms to contend with the realities of remote everything during and post-pandemic.
