Following on its rececent launch of Azure OpenAI Service, software giant Microsoft has deepened its investment in OpenAI, the company that has dominated headlines by offering free public access to generative AI tools incuding ChatGPT and generative art tool Dall•E 2.

Accrording to the Wall Street Journal, the financial terms of the new investment were not disclosed. However, the New York Times reported that Microsoft is investing $10 billion in OpenAi, an amount that has been the subject of investment rumors in recent weeks.
