ChatGPT has spawned a lot of pressing questions for the legal industry. So, it's no surprise that a session on the topic at Legalweek 2023 in New York was overflowing. Danielle Benecke, the founder and global head of Baker McKenzie's machine learning practice, sat on the ChatGPT panel and spoke to Legal Speak following the session.
Benecke shared how the legal profession might evolve alongside ChatGPT technology. Benecke said since the birth of the legal profession, attorneys have delivered knowledge, carried out labor based on the law and made predictions on where the law is going.
