Generative artificial intelligence has held a bit of a monopoly on the legal technology market since the beginning of the year. Though the technology has been widely received with excitement, many have also raised concerns about its models’ safety.

Vendors quickly caught on to the industry’s concerns around the data privacy of generative AI and OpenAI’s GPT models powering their tools. And a marketing readjustment promptly followed with numerous announcements coming one after the other and presenting AI models as safe or privacy-compliant.
