E-discovery startup Fileread announced Tuesday it has raised $6 million in a seed funding round led by Gradient Ventures, an investment firm backed by Google, and Soma Capital.

Fileread looks to streamline e-discovery by leveraging large language models (LLMs) to search through litigation data and uncover relevant facts and information.

A press release announcing the funding noted that the startup will use the investment to grow its staff and "scale its product."
