Earlier this month, Michael Best & Friedrich announced that Sarah Alt would serve as its first chief process and AI officer, making the firm one of the first to have an AI-focused C-suite role.
Previously, Alt worked as the firm's chief business officer, leveraging her strengths as a technologist focused on AI's legal and ethical implications. For Michael Best and its clients, the new role isn't simply a practical necessity, but also a statement: they care about AI and how their clients use it, she said.
