Over the past decade, Aaron Crews has helped steer legal innovation from all corners of the legal industry. After serving as senior AGC and head of e-discovery at Walmart, a GC and advisor at AI startup TextIQ (since acquired by Relativity), and the chief data analytics officer at Littler, Crews joined UnitedLex as a senior VP in 2021, before being appointed the alternative legal service provider’s (ALSP’s)  chief product and innovation officer in July of this year.

Just weeks into his new role, UnitedLex launched a new innovation program, backed by a $10 million internal, multi-year investment, that will act as a legal technology testing ground, incubator and development space. Crews will run the new program, which will also look at opportunities to partner with or invest in AI and data companies in the market.
