On Thursday, The Contract Network, a legal tech startup that offers an AI-powered contract collaboration platform, announced it has raised $8 million in a seed funding round let by Tusk Venture Partners, with participation from Relativity founder Andrew Sieja, Cooley LLP’s investment fund GC&H Investments, The LegalTech Fund, Mayo Clinic and Toba Capital.

The Contract Network was launched in April 2023 by Jim Wagner, a former DocuSign vice president and former Seal Software president, and Bill Murphy, who previously served as CTO at investment management company Blackstone.
