On Thursday, The Contract Network, a legal tech startup that offers an AI-powered contract collaboration platform, announced it has raised $8 million in a seed funding round let by Tusk Venture Partners, with participation from Relativity founder Andrew Sieja, Cooley LLP's investment fund GC&H Investments, The LegalTech Fund, Mayo Clinic and Toba Capital.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays.
