Fasken Martineau DuMoulin has snapped up leading technology lawyer Marc Shewchun from Blake, Cassels & Graydon, where he launched Nitro, a legal services program that provides cost-effective legal services tailored to the needs of emerging technology companies.

Shewchun joins Fasken as a partner in its emerging technology group in Toronto. He has more than 20 years of experience acting for private and public technology companies. He has “deep knowledge of the evolving startup ecosystem,” the firm said.
