Alternative legal service provider UnitedLex announced Wednesday that it has appointed James Schellhase as its second-ever chief executive officer. The company's previous CEO, Dan Reed, will stay on as UnitedLex's chairman of the board of directors.
Schellhase most recently served as CEO at data risk management software provider Breakwater Solutions, and before that was an executive chairman at legal service provider McCarthyFinch and CEO at e-discovery company DiscoveryReady. Schellhase has also served in various executives roles at IBM.
