A company may have the right solution, the right financials and even the right market share. But if its founders don’t match a certain demographic, they may not always receive funding.

It’s no secret that women-founded or women-led companies tend to receive less funding than their male counterparts. In 2023, companies founded by women received less than 3% of all venture capital investments.
