On Tuesday, Kansas-City based e-discovery services provider Complete Legal announced that it has merged with two e-discovery and legal support companies, Chicago-headquarted L2 Services and St. Louis-based Precise Legal. All three companies will now operate under the Complete Legal brand, with their headquarters in Kansas City, and L2 Services CEO Eric Singer serving as the CEO of new company.

Complete Legal co-founders Eric Kelting and Jeff Dreiling have also now become the chief operating officer and chief strategy officer, respectively, of the merged company, while Precise Legal CEO Adam Hunter moves into the chief revenue officer role.

Complete Legal's merger with L2 Services, which also has an office in New York City, comes almost two years after alternative legal service provider Empire Technologies Risk Management (ETRM) group announced its intention to buy the company in March 2022, a deal that Kelting noted did not ultimately go through.
