On Wednesday, Chicago-based justice technology platform Paladin announced it has acquired the cloud-based law firm pro bono reporting software Pro Bono Manager from Pro Bono Net, marking the first acquisition for Paladin.

Kristen Sonday, the CEO and founder of Paladin, told Legaltech News that the deal was finalized at the end of 2023, but that its financial terms will not be made public. In addition to Pro Bono Manager’s acquisition, Paladin has also entered into a strategic partnership with Pro Bono Net, whose other offerings include LawHelp, LawHelp Interactive, Remote Legal Connect and Citizenshipworks. The partnership will see the two organizations collaborate on tech projects, complete data studies, host events and build out content together, she said.
