Following news earlier this month that Kansas-City-based Complete Legal merged with two e-discovery and legal support companies—Chicago-based L2 Services and St. Louis-headquartered Precise Legal—the combined entity, operating under Complete Legal, announced on Wednesday that it has now also acquired Frontline Managed Services' e-discovery business.

Frontline, an alternative legal service provider, offers IT, cybersecurity, contract management and e-billing services, among others. The company rebranded from Intelliteach to Frontline in 2021, a year that also saw it acquire IT provider Glasser Tech, law firm e-billing service InvoicePrep and legal IT consulting service Logicforce.

Complete Legal's acquisition of Frontline's e-discovery business comes as it looks to continue its growth following its earlier merger. "This was always part of the plan with the merger—it was to grow. And, for us, growth was not only going to come from organic growth, but strategic acquisitions, or potentially even other mergers," said Complete Legal co-founder and Chief Operating Officer Eric Kelting.
