Thomson Reuters announced the release of two artificial intelligence-powered features within its legal drafting and legal research platform Practical Law, along with the expansion of its stand-alone product, CoCounsel Core, on Wednesday.

The news marks Thomson Reuters' second and third generative AI integration within the span of three months, coming on the heels of Westlaw Precision's generative AI features, which were announced in November.

The new capabilities in Practical Law will include "Ask Practical Law AI" and "Practical Law Clause Finder," both powered by Thomson Reuters' proprietary generative AI algorithms and trained by the company's subject matter experts.
