Artificial intelligence e-discovery platform Beagle announced that it raised $3 million in a seed funding round on Jan. 30. The round was spearheaded by ML Capital with participation from other investors, including Davidovs Venture Collective fund and Hugging Face co-founder Thomas Wolf.

Beagle was founded in 2021 by Sergey Demyanov and Maksim Ivanov, both former machine-learning managers at Snap Inc., and offers a generative AI-powered platform aimed at streamlining document collection, analysis and exchange in legal disputes. Beagle is currently available to select customers in beta with plans for a broader commercial release “later this quarter,” according to a news release.
