A survey from Consilio found that many legal professionals don't feel prepared to use generative AI technology. But adequate generative AI training might not be readily available.

A lack of necessary expertise and talent is preventing many legal teams from leveraging generative AI technology, according to Consilio's Legalweek 2024 survey of 129 legal professionals, half of which came from law firms, while 43% came from corporate legal departments and 6% from government-affiliated entities.
