Haloo: On June 18, Canada-based AI-powered platform for trademark search and protection Haloo announced that it raised a $3.5 million funding round. This round was led by Innospark Ventures, a Boston-based AI-focused venture capital firm, along with participation from from BDC and LOI Ventures. Existing investors, including The W Fund, also contributed to the round. The funding round will be used to scale the company’s sales and marketing, develop innovative features, and gain a larger market share, as per the release. “We are incredibly excited about what this funding unlocks for Haloo,” said Julie MacDonell, Haloo CEO in the release. Haloo serves law firms, legal departments and government intellectual property offices.
