AltaClaro Launches New Training Programs to Tackle Mounting Pressure on Associates
As law firms face pressure to head into mediation earlier and earlier, junior associates feel the need to hit the ground running quicker than ever before. The new AltaClaro training series is hoping to speed up the process with real-life litigation simulations.

Legal education provider AltaClaro announced on Tuesday that it would be releasing two new products targeted to early-associate education at law firms, expanding on its cache of 60 courses to include litigation and legal writing.
The "New Litigator Fast Track Series," a set of five courses meant to teach foundational skills to early career litigators, and the "Successful Writing for Legal Practice," a legal writing program, are both set to go live Sept. 1.
AltaClaro CEO and founder Abdi Shayesteh and executive legal editor Patricia Libby, who developed the new courses, told Legaltech News that both products were a top request from the company's existing law firm customers on both the litigation and transaction side.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays.
