AALL: On Wednesday, the American Association of Law Libraries announced that Cornell H. Winston will serve as its 2024-25 AALL president. Winston was elected by association members in 2022, and officially began his term as president after the 2024 AALL annual meeting and conference in Chicago. Before this role, Winston served as AALL treasurer and an executive board member. Additionally, he brings with him 36 years of law librarian experience, according to a news release. As AALL president, Winston is set to focus on building a culture of inclusivity, offering new programs around emerging technology, and leading the effort for the organization’s 20205-28 strategic plan, according to the release.
