Earlier this month, more than 4,000 legal industry professionals gathered outside Nashville at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center to discuss all things legal tech at the International Legal Technology Association Conference (ILTACON) 2024. The record attendancein terms of registrations, countries represented and morebrought with it a boundless level of energy that carried through the exhibit hall to the sessions to the social events across a packed four days.

In a surprise to no one, generative AI was once again the hot topic, as it has been at pretty much every legal tech conference since the public launch of ChatGPT in Nov. 2022. However, as we noted at last year’s ILTACON, the conference tends to draw a more tech-savvy crowd, leading to more mature conversations about AI, as opposed to just hype.
