On Tuesday, U.K.-based legal artificial intelligence firm Luminance announced the launch of its new agentic AI tool Agent Lumi.

Agentic AI is an AI system that can autonomously make decisions and learn, and perform actions such as opening or editing files.

The launch of Agent Lumi comes around a year and a half after the company launched its first generative AI offering, a chatbot called Ask Lumi, for its Luminance Corporate customers, and six months after, it announced a $40 million series B funding round that included participation from long-time investor law firm Slaughter and May, among others.
