A legal battle has been initiated in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, where a Miami-based attorney has filed a lawsuit on behalf of Ecom Authority and its coalition of 595 third-party sellers against Amazon.com Inc.

The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M.
