On Thursday, litigation analytics provider Pre/Dicta announced the expansion of its litigation analytics platform to cover California's Superior Courts, marking the company's first move into state court analytics.

Pre/Dicta uses a diverse array of data sources to predict the length of the various phases of a matter, as well as the likelihood of success for several motion types.

In a press release announcing the expansion, Pre/Dicta stated that is has incorporated "millions of data points sourced from California cases—including judicial biographical information, docket records, and party and law firm data," to allow legal teams to "predict outcomes for various motions and precisely forecast case timelines in California's Superior Courts."
