Law firms in a rush to adopt gen AI, beware. Often, firms attempt to use AI as a “silver bullet” that will magically paper over years—or even decades—of bad information management.
To avoid this haphazard approach, law firms should focus on their information architecture (IA) before they start leaning on gen AI for the knowledge seeking and insights lawyers are expecting AI to deliver.
