On Monday, e-discovery provider Casepoint announced that it has merged with government process management software company OPEXUS, which provides a number of Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), investigation, workforce management, and contract solutions for government agencies in the U.S. and Canada.

The merger was supported by an investment from private equity firm Thoma Bravo, which will have a majority stake in the new entity, while OPEXUS investor Gemspring Capital will maintain a minority stake in the combined company.
