Many firms and corporate legal departments alike see generative AI adoption bolstering the use of Alternative Legal Service Providers (ALSP) over the next three years, according to Thomson Reuters’ Alternative Legal Service Providers 2025 Report.
Of the 424 law firms and 213 corporate legal departments surveyed in September and October of 2024, the report found that the majority of respondents predicted that usage of ALSPs will increase over the next few years as gen AI helps these service providers grow their offerings.
