Who would have expected the world economy to take such a precipitous plunge? Law practices are hardly exempt from the financial challenges of this new, frightening economy, but small firms can be especially vulnerable.
For all lawyers, the pressure is on to make more from less. Things will change, especially following our historic national election. But for now, smart law practices will batten down the hatches, tighten belts, and learn how to better exploit their existing infrastructure, before rushing to upgrade and buy new technology.
