LegalTech New York ’09 was flat-out awesome, with strong attendance that prompted several folks to query, “What recession?” While there was just a bit more elbow room, the Exhibit Halls and presentations were packed!

Hands down, the biggest buzz was about Magistrate Judge John Facciola’s keynote on Feb. 4, where he chastised lawyers who have failed to adopt technology. You could feel every lawyer in the room cringe when he suggested that we all should be tested for technology competence before being allowed into the nation’s courtrooms. (I never, ever want to take another bar exam, but I agree with him.)
