The documentary, narrated by Al Gore, is framed upon a powerful slide show. I learned that The Climate Project (www.TheClimateProject.org) was offering training sessions for citizens willing to take the slide show on the road. So with the blessing of my firm, Thompson & Hine, where I am director of business development, I applied for the January sessions in Nashville. Despite fierce competition, I was accepted. Also in our group was Oakland-based mediation consultant Stewart Levine.

I am now trained and authorized to present the slide show, for free, to any organization or group that cares to listen. While I made it clear to my firm that my efforts to support this cause will be done on my own time and expense, our firm’s managing partner, David Hooker, has been very supportive.
