LegalTech West Coast, June 20-21, had a lot of “firsts” as LTN’s news editor Claire Duffett, Law.com’s new technology editor Sean Doherty, and I kept busy with vendor meetings and demos, seminar panels, and parties.
Said Doherty, on attending his first LegalTech: “Being a veteran of Consumer Electronic Shows, Interops, and Supercoms, I viewed the showroom floor of approximately 150 vendors as a shallow pool compared to the oceans of technology I found at other shows. But after putting my feet in the water, I was quickly submerged in technology aimed at the legal vertical with a clear message: Be ready for litigation with electronic data capture and discovery tools.
