Kudos to the National Federation of Paralegal Associations, for its first Technology Institute, held July 19-20 in Pittsburgh. I was honored to present the event’s keynote address, “Fear Factor: The Brave New Business of Law,” and was so touched by the kind enthusiasm of the audience.

The event was co-chaired by NFPA president Anita Haworth and board advisor S. Kristine Farmer. Haworth is with Carmel, Indiana’s Campbell Kyle Proffitt; Farmer, based in Dallas, is with Fish & Richardson. The speakers committee was led by Georgette Lovelace of Susman, Duffy & Segaloff in New Haven, Ct.
