Thank you for the excellent article about e-billing. Scott Wirtz dispelled many fears expressed by law firms that receive a client letter requesting that they begin e-billing. However, an important opportunity is missed when firms simply wait to receive such letters from their clients. A firm can reinforce its role as a trusted advisor, and make it more likely that its clients will select a system that the law firm prefers, when it offers to help its clients select an e-billing system.
