Here are some highlights from the new report:
Firm Buying Behavior: Firm laptop purchases in this year’s survey are relatively static, with 40 percent of respondents saying their firms had purchased a laptop within the past six months. Plans to purchase laptop computers within the next six months were also static at 25 percent. But more firms have purchased PDAs, smartphones or Research in Motion Ltd.’s Black Berrys within the past six months than in the 2004-2005 survey (34 percent in 2006 versus 23 percent in 2004-2005).
