First — let me note that I had nothing to do with the judging of the awards, other than to select the jury. Three members of the LTN Editorial Advisory Board served on the panel: David Whelan, director of the Cincinnati Law Library Association; Fredric Lederer, who runs the Courtroom 21 Project and is a professor at the College of William and Mary; and Andrew Adkins III, head of the Legal Technology Institute at the Levin College of Law at the University of Florida. (And we thank them, profusely, for serving a second term!)

I was especially thrilled when Caddell was selected as 2004 IT Director of the Year, because he’s served on the LTN board for several years, and has, over those years, actively contributed to LTN. Caddell has written several articles and has offered invaluable counsel and suggestions.
