In May of that year, Foley was a Milwaukee-based firm of 685 attorneys working in 14 U.S. offices. It was a time for change in technology and a time for significant change at Foley.

Approximately two years earlier, we decided to become a national law firm — and not just a firm with 14 offices that shared the same name. We wanted to progress from local to national management, which required major organizational changes to our business structure and to the technology structure supporting the firm.
