Our technology is fairly typical of most larger firms and includes Microsoft Corp.’s Office 2000, document management (Hummingbird Ltd.’s Docs Open), e-mail (Novell Inc.’s GroupWise), DTE (Advanced Productivity Software Inc.) and time and billing systems from Thomson Elite.

We are not bleeding edge, and we do a lot of pilot testing before putting applications or systems into production. The nice part about this is that we can take new technology and really kick the tires before making it mainstream. This approach avoids a lot of the “pull-back” or “regroup” episodes that other firms have endured.
