The ABA polled 1,524 members, and the results reveal a fierce resistance to legal technology. The most dramatic statistic: only 11.7 percent of attorneys are using any litigation support tools. (See, Fear Factor, June LTN.) Many observers quickly reached the same conclusion:

We need to change our mindsets. Vendors, consultants, and, yes, journalists simply must do a better job communicating with our clients and readers, to better explain how these products and services will help firms deliver legal services better, faster and cheaper; and how that will improve your bottom line, financially, as well as give you more time to enjoy this spectacular adventure called life.
