Even though Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati advised Logitech on its $405 million purchase of video-conferencing company LifeSize Communications Inc., the lawyers didn’t get to use the fancy technology to negotiate the deal.
Robert Ishii, the San Francisco Wilson partner who headed the deal team, said executives from the two companies did use the high definition video conferencing gear, but that the lawyers were left using old-fashioned telephones.
