Anyway, as we mentioned last month, we headed West for our more-or-less annual briefing at Microsoft Corp. But the Office folks ran into deadline issues (I can relate), so that meeting will be re-calendared. I promise to keep bugging them on our current obsessions: e-mail addresses that go dead when you forward mail, and Smart Tags problems.
But there’s never lost time in Seattle, which has evolved into an absolute hot house for electronic data discovery. Among the EDD vendors in the gorgeous Puget Sound area are Applied Discovery Inc., Electronic Evidence Discovery Inc., Fios Inc., Computer Forensics Inc., and a newcomer: Attenex Corp., a spin-off of Preston Gates & Ellis.
