Let’s put it this way — I was not alone in dreading the idea of Florida in August. But the weather wasn’t too bad. (Could anything top last year’s 118-degree Palm Springs, which landed Yvonne Dornic in the hospital?)
There’s just no other word for it, the Boca Raton Resort and Club is magnficient. The service was so good it was sometimes annoying. Every room — from tower to beachfront — is fabulous. Even the most cynical road warriors were hoarding the seductive coconut-scented shampoos and bath gels.
