The Tote-Remote is about four inches long and an inch wide. It fits comfortably in your hand — to the point that your audience might not even notice that you’re using it. The controls are simple – you have one button on top for the laser pointer, another button for the F5/Esc functions in Microsoft Corp.’s PowerPoint, and a wheel-button on the side that rocks back and forth to advance or go back a slide.

It works on radio frequency (RF) rather than infrared (IR), so you can walk up to 30 feet away from your PC and still have precise control over your presentation. It communicates with your PC via a small unit (about the size of a pack of gum) that plugs into a USB port.
