Robinson died in 1998, leaving behind substantial assets, including a 19,000-acre ranch. She had executed a will in 1983, bequeathing a large portion of her assets, including the ranch, to the John Harvey Robinson Charitable Foundation, a private charity she had established to support various conservative, Christian and youth organizations. Three years before her death, at age 92, Robinson executed a new will, leaving most of her assets to family members and family-controlled limited partnerships.
