California’s Apple (www.apple.com) has updated its MacBook with a durable polycarbonate design similar to its line of MacBook Pros. The notebook features an LED-backlit display, a glass trackpad, and a built-in seven-hour battery. The 13.3-inch, 4.7-pound computer runs on a 2.26 gigahertz Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 2 gigabytes of RAM. It has a 250-gigabyte hard drive and an Nvidia GeForce 9400M graphics card.
Apple also debuted its wireless Magic Mouse. Eliminating buttons and scroll wheels, the top of the mouse has a multi-touch surface to help users scroll through long documents and pan across large images.
